Enterprise Development

Helping businesses sell and grow online.

We work with organisations that support businesses to build the skills and capabilities to use digital commerce. Together, we design practical programmes that help businesses reach more customers, manage online sales and grow.

Practical programmes that help businesses build digital skills, reach customers and put online selling to work.

Hands joined in partnership
Working together to help businesses reach more customers.

From learning to doing

Skills that businesses can put to work.

Build skills, use sales tools, reach customers and keep improving.

We connect practical learning with the tools and support businesses need to sell online.

Build skills

Learn to present products, choose sales channels and find customers online.

Put tools to work

Practise using online stores, payments, orders and delivery tools.

Connect to customers

Reach new customers through online channels and commerce networks.

Keep improving

Review progress and help businesses take their next steps.

Two ways to work together

Start with a workshop. Build towards adoption.

Choose practical learning or a longer programme with hands-on support.

Choose a focused introduction or a longer programme with hands-on support. We agree the scope around your group, their starting point and your goals.

Practical learning

Digital Commerce Workshops

Short sessions that introduce businesses and entrepreneurs to selling online.

  • Choose suitable sales channels.
  • Present and promote products.
  • Practise handling enquiries and orders.

The focus Practical skills and completed learning exercises.

Hands-on support

Digital Commerce Adoption Programmes

Longer engagements that connect learning with setting up tools and using them in business.

  • Assess what each business needs.
  • Help set up and use sales channels.
  • Provide follow-up and review progress.

The focus Businesses putting digital commerce into regular use.

Designed and delivered together

A programme shaped around the businesses you support.

Understand needs. Design together. Deliver, support and review.

We design each programme with our partners, around the businesses they support and what they need to do differently.

  1. Understand needs

Learn what businesses need and what holds them back.

  2. Design together

Agree on the plan, responsibilities and intended results.

  3. Deliver & support

Help businesses learn, practise and use the tools.

  4. Review progress

Review what changed and agree on the next steps.

Look beyond attendance. Agree how to track skills, use of sales tools and business progress, and when to follow up.

Programme details

Clear roles. Practical goals.

Partner contributions, sales channels, progress measures and costs.

We agree on delivery, support and reporting before the programme starts. These are starting points for that conversation.

What does each partner contribute?

25 Points can contribute

  • Programme design and learning materials.
  • Digital commerce expertise and practical tools.
  • Training and help getting businesses started.
  • Follow-up support and progress reporting.

Partners may contribute

  • Knowledge of the businesses and their needs.
  • Participant selection and outreach.
  • Sector expertise, facilities or funding.
  • Coordination and continued local support.
Which sales channels can businesses use?

We choose channels around the business and its customers. That can include WhatsApp, social media, a business’s own website and relevant marketplaces. Tambala Market is one practical option where it fits.

How do we measure progress?

We agree on a starting point, a few useful measures and when to follow up. Depending on the programme, these may include:

  • Businesses completing the learning and practical exercises.
  • Businesses actively using a digital sales channel.
  • Orders, sales or new customers where reliable records are available.
  • Continued use at agreed points, such as 30 and 90 days.

Attendance, adoption and commercial results are reported separately. Where earning opportunities are included, we distinguish actual earnings from sign-ups. We report observed changes and the limits of the evidence.

How are the format, duration and cost agreed?

Together, we agree on the group, location, learning format, support period and reporting needs. The scope and cost follow from those choices. We also consider participants’ access to devices, data and the support they need to take part.
