What is Events & Ticketing?

The Events & Ticketing system on Tambala Market allows organizers to create events, sell tickets online, manage attendees, and handle entry at the venue using secure QR-based check-in.

It supports both free and paid events, multiple ticket tiers, real-time attendee tracking, and digital ticket delivery.

 The Event Lifecycle

Every event on Tambala Market follows a simple flow:

First, an organizer creates an event and publishes it. Once published, tickets become available for purchase. Everyone can then buy and receive their tickets instantly. On the day of the event, attendees are checked in using QR codes or manual verification.

After the event, organizers can review attendance data, export attendee lists, and evaluate performance.

Creating an Event

Organizers begin by creating an event from the account dashboard. This includes adding basic details such as the event name, description, venue, date, time, and images. Organizers can also define capacity limits and configure how the event will be presented to buyers.

Once the event details are complete, ticket types can be created.

Ticket Types

Events can have one or multiple ticket types depending on how the organizer wants to structure access. For example, an event may include general admission, VIP access, early bird tickets, or student pricing.

Each ticket type can include its own price, quantity limit, and description. This allows organizers to control both access and pricing strategy in a flexible way.

After setup, the event can be published and made available to the public.

Managing an Event

Once an event is live, organizers can track ticket sales in real time, update event details, manage capacity, and export attendee information.

They can also monitor how many tickets have been sold and how many remain available. This helps organizers make informed decisions as the event approaches.

Buying Tickets

For attendees, the experience begins on the event page.

Each event displays essential details such as the time, location, description, and available ticket options and pre-order items. They can select the ticket type and quantity that best suits their needs and proceed to checkout.

During checkout, buyers provide basic information such as name, email, and phone number. For paid events, payment is completed through supported payment methods before tickets are issued. For free events, tickets are generated immediately.

Ticket Delivery

Once a purchase is completed, tickets are automatically generated and assigned a unique identifier. Each ticket includes a secure QR code that is used for event entry.

Tickets can be accessed at any time from the buyer’s order page and downloaded in either PDF or image format. Buyers can also re-download tickets if needed, ensuring they never lose access.

Attendee Management

Organizers have full visibility into attendee information for their events. This includes names, contact details, ticket types, purchase history, pre-ordered items and attendance status.

Attendee lists can be exported for reporting, planning, or operational use.

Event Check-In

On the day of the event, attendees are verified using the check-in system.

Organizers or check-in staff can scan QR codes using a mobile or desktop device. The system instantly validates the ticket and marks the attendee as checked in.

If scanning is not possible, attendees can also be found manually using their name, email, or ticket reference.

Bulk check-in tools are available for high-traffic events, allowing multiple attendees to be processed efficiently.

Once a ticket has been used, it is marked as checked in and cannot be reused, helping prevent duplicate entry.

Real-Time Insights

Organizers can view live attendance data during the event. This includes how many attendees have arrived, how many are still expected, and overall progress toward full capacity.

This helps organizers manage flow, staffing, and on-the-ground operations more effectively.

Beyond Tickets: Building Complete Event Experiences

Events today are no longer just about entry.

People do not simply attend events. They prepare for them, plan around them, and experience them as complete moments that extend far beyond the venue itself.

What someone wears, what they bring, where they stay, how they travel, and what they consume all contribute to how an event is experienced and remembered.

Tambala Market is designed around this reality.

Instead of treating events as isolated ticket sales, the platform supports the full experience surrounding them.

Event Pre-Orders

Organizers can offer pre-orders alongside ticket sales to help attendees prepare for the event.

These can include merchandise, branded clothing, VIP packages, event kits, food vouchers, or limited-edition items created specifically for the event.

Pre-orders allow attendees to secure these items at the same time they purchase their tickets, ensuring they are fully prepared for the experience ahead.

Depending on how the organizer structures the offering, pre-orders may be paid in full upfront or reserved with a partial deposit and completed later. This approach helps organizers better understand demand while giving attendees more convenient access to what they need.

Recommended Shops and Event Partners

Events naturally create demand for products and services.

Tambala Market allows organizers to highlight relevant shops and vendors directly on the event page. These recommendations may include clothing stores, merchandise sellers, accommodation providers or other businesses connected to the event experience.

For attendees, this makes it easier to discover what they need before attending an event and for businesses, it creates an opportunity to reach people at the exact moment they are preparing for a meaningful experience.

Creating New Opportunities

By connecting tickets, pre-orders, and recommendations in one place, we unlock a new kind of event economy.

Organizers are no longer limited to ticket revenue alone. They can extend their events into merchandise, partnerships, curated packages, and experience-based offerings that reflect the identity of their events. Businesses can participate directly in these ecosystems by offering products and services aligned with the event audience.

This transforms events into shared commercial spaces where value is created not just through attendance, but through everything surrounding the experience.

Helping People Show Up Better

At the center of all of this is a simple idea.

People want to show up well for the moments that matter to them.

Whether it is wearing something meaningful, having the right equipment, staying nearby, or simply feeling prepared, these choices shape how events are experienced. Tambala Market helps make that easier by connecting those needs directly to the event itself.

From Events to Ecosystems

The most meaningful events are not defined only by attendance.

They are defined by everything around them — the preparation, the people, the products, the energy, and the shared experience.

Tambala Market connects these elements into a single system where events become ecosystems rather than isolated transactions.

Tickets open the door, but the experience is what people remember and come back for.

This is what Tambala Market is building toward.
